Shamrock Game {Free Download}

Five Shamrocks & Rhyme
Click here – Free Download

Directions: Download and print out the six shamrocks above onto heavy paper, color them different colors, make sure one is green and cut them out.

To begin to play the game have the children sit in a circle.

One player sits in the middle of the circle; this player is the leprechaun. The leprechaun starts the game by passing the six shamrocks out. The leprechaun then closes his/her eyes and keeps them closed while the shamrocks are being passed by the children around the circle that they are sitting in.

After the shamrocks have been passed for a few seconds, the leprechaun shouts, "Shamrock!" and opens his/her eyes. The players holding the shamrocks will take turns holding up their shamrock and everyone will yell out what color shamrock they are holding up, the child with the green shamrock is the winner of this round, you can change the color each time so the children don’t know which color is going to be the winner.

Now the winner gets to be the leprechaun for the next game. Continue playing until each child has had a turn at being the leprechaun.

Fun game to play on St. Patrick’s Day or if you are going to have a party this would be the perfect time to play this game!

Testimonials

I have been using this curriculum for the past five years. It is truly fabulous! My children are learning so much and are having so much fun. It is so great to have stories and rhymes incorporated with each day's lesson. I love the weekly Thematic units and so do my Parents. The Theme poster's are great to put on your Parent Bulletin Board.

You do have to print out the pintables but the price is so reasonable that it is worth it. Other programs that I have looked into that send you everything already printed out are very expensive. It is worth taking a few minutes to print out what you need for your daily lesson, plus you can use these lessons over and over again, year to year.

I have just started using the infant curriculum and I love it and so do my infants and parents. I cannot imagine running my program without this wonderful curriculum. I hope you guys are around for a long time to come.

Susan – Dallas, Texas

Another Testimonial:

I have been purchasing your curriculum for a few months now and the kids love the program. I just wanted to say “Thanks for sharing your work with us”
